The true meaning of etiquette is always to show respect and kindness to everyone around you
Manners are the social glue that allows disparate members of society to come together. Adults need to teach children this language, which is essentially what social etiquette is, so they can communicate with peers and adults in order to give them the most advantages in life.
The key to lifelong manners is to start young. So young in training can start as soon as a child starts talking.
“You can begin teaching etiquette to children as soon as they begin speaking. Start by teaching them ‘please and thank you’ when they ask for something. When the child is old enough to sit at the dinner table (even in a high chair), you can start teaching dining etiquette,”.
